Walter S. Zimolong, III is an associate of Jacoby Donner, P.C. Mr. Zimolong concentrates his practice in commercial and construction litigation, and real estate. Mr. Zimolong is admitted to the bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Mr. Zimolong earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Villanova University, and his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law where he was invited to become a member of the Moot Court Board. He was a student editor of the Villanova Journal of Law and Investment Management. During law school, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable George A. Pagano, Delaware County Court of Common Pleas.

Mr. Zimolong represents owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, and sureties in complex construction litigation matters in state and federal court and in mediation and arbitration proceedings.  He also represents regional and Fortune 500 developers in acquisition of properties, leasing issues, and creation of condominium/planned community documents.  In addition, he acts as outside corporate counsel to a foreign currency hedge fund and a regional housing developer.

Mr. Zimolong was recently nominated to the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association Real Property Section.  Mr. Zimolong is on the Board of Directors of the Blue and White Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Mr. Zimolong is also a member of the Union League of Philadelphia where he sits on the Junior Members Executive Committee and is active in the Youth Work Foundation.  Mr. Zimolong is active in other civic, philanthropic, and trade organizations, such as C.A.D.E., and the Philadelphia Chapter of the GBCA.

Mr. Zimolong is the author of several articles related to construction and real estate law which have appeared in The Legal Intelligencer and the Philadelphia Business Journal.  He has been elected as the Republican candidate for State Representative in the Pennsylvania General Assembly for the 182nd District.

In his free time, Mr. Zimolong enjoys golf, college football, surfing, and spending time at home in Philadelphia with his black Labrador Retriever.
