For decades the firm has counseled various multi-employer pension funds, health and welfare funds, labor-management committees, and other trust funds. Combined, our clients control a over one billion dollars. In connection with that work, we regularly counsel on and litigate issues related to ERISA, MPPAA, LMRA, and other labor statutes and regulations. In addition, we counsel both union pension funds and union contractors on all issues arising from membership in a pension fund, including issues related to ERISA's Withdrawal Liability, Collective Bargaining, Successor Liability, and related matters. If any dispute arises, we can represent you in any mediation and arbitration proceedings.

Finally, we advise single employers in connection with establishing and maintaining pension, profit sharing and 401(k) plans. The firm also works closely with clients' accountants to obtain favorable tax treatment with respect to the operation of these plans.
